Day 3 (Cairo): After breakfast, full day sight seeing, visiting the Egyptian museum with the huge collection of the Pharaonic antiquities and monuments. Then you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, nearby the mysterious Sphinx, a colossal lion with a pharaoh head. Evening time you will be back to the hotel for leisure and relaxation. Overnight at the hotel. (BL) |

Day 4 (Cairo): After breakfast, (optional trip) full day sight seeing, visiting Memphis the capital of the oldest kingdom in the world, and the statue of Ramses II. Then continue to Saqqara to visit the legendary Unas Pyramid, king Zoser Step Pyramid, Tomb of Ti and Tomb of Ptahotep. Then you will continue to Old Christian Cairo, where the holy family stayed during their visit to Egypt. You will visit the Church of Abu Serga and the well known Hanging Church. You will pass through the alleys, where Jesus stepped, also you will visit Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt. Then you will proceed to the Old Islamic Cairo and you will visit Mohamed Ali Mosque and the Citadel of Salah El Din. Continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar a place for shopping where you will find all kinds of Oriental goods and hand crafted pieces. Then transfer to the train station and take the sleeper train to Luxor

Day 9 (Cruise): After breakfast, (optional) drive to Abu Simbel (3 to 4 hours driving) to visit Abu Simbel temple for 2 hours with english speaking guide and drive back to Aswan, after lunch, view of the Elephentine Island by felucca (saling boat) and view of the Agha Khan mausoleum permission is required, dinner on board and overnight on your cruise. | Day 12 (Cairo): Disembarkation after breakfast, transfer to Luxor train station to take the sleeping train to Cairo, Le Meridien pyramids dinner and overnight. (BD) |
Day 13 (Alexandria): After breakfast arrive Cairo, (optional trip) transfer to Alexandria, by an air conditioned car or bus. Alexandria was named after Alexander the great. Egypt is second biggest city, it is a semi circle city on the sea, with lots of Roman remains. You will visit Catacombs of Kom El Shuqafa, Pompeii pillar, the Roman theatre and the newly opened Alexandria library. In antiquity the library was the largest and most important library in the world. Transfer back by an air conditioned car or bus. Overnight at Le Meridien pyramids. (BL) |
